Reviewed print sets to separate roofing prints necessary for our work. Communicated directly with project managers and customers to guarantee work was done properly and in a timely fashion. Scanned full size prints and converted them to PDF format. Made length calculations to ensure the right size of metal roofing was being used to account for expansion and contraction in the changing temperatures. Calculated roof slopes for best possible drainage method on EPDM roofing. Plotted, laminated, bound, packaged, and shipped drawing sets with the proper transmittal upon completion of each job. Logged time spent on each job and continued correspondence with clients.

Made changes to red-line mark-ups in accordance with architectural standards. Took field measurements for initial setup of blueprints. Drafted every aspect of construction from base plan, site, electrical and mechanical sheets, to interior and exterior elevations. Recorded precise time spent on jobs and kept regular email contacts with clients. Bound, packaged, and shipped print sets on a regular basis. Ordered, cataloged, and organized entire library of magazines, reference books and binders of samples.

Transferred electrical line work onto AutoCAD LT 2005. Completed many sets of prints for Community North Hospital and handled the majority of the electrical layout for that facility. Created a standard set of layers and symbols for each job. Reworked old prints by cleaning electrical and mechanical line work and setting new layers for ease of use in the field.

Created 2D blueprints for folding door fabrication. Made weight calculations to determine sizes of door sections to maintain ease of use and safety standards. Became the first employee to work from home. Created the standard blueprint layout and drawing layers that are still used today. 3D drawings were created for all technical diagrams in their brochure and manuals which are still presently used on Holcomb and Hoke’s website ( www.foldoor.com).

Skilled at mathematics and currently taking advanced trigonometry classes. Good at board drafting and attention to detail. Knowledge of scaling and plotting from 8 ½” x 11” to 30” x 42” prints.
