Responsibilities Lilly USA IT plays a key role in delivering solutions and services across the US Bio-Medicines organization and hosted services for US Diabetes and Oncology. The Technical Lead will partner with many diverse groups including: IT Data Integration Consultants, Business Unit partners, field sales representatives and external partners to influence foundational decisions involving data, processes, and platforms. This role will be a key driver on the strategy and implementation for how data is stored, managed, processed and integrated across business and IT platforms. This role will also have the primary responsibility for the design and delivery of business intelligence reporting, and data delivery efforts. In addition, this role will:
Provide technical leadership to internal customers for solutions that lead to improved efficiency and customer experience
Exercise expertise with tools used by IT, sales and medical teams to deliver solutions
Become a subject matter expert on processes and data used by our business partners
Provide leadership and mentoring to a team of technical analysts
Oversee the design and integration of solutions to be used by sales, medical and training teams
Key Deliverables/
Responsibilities:
Proactively identify short and long-term improvement opportunities that cross multiple business and IT departments
Proven ability to communicate proactively and effectively with IT and business stakeholders of all levels translating technical conversation into business relevant understanding
Ensure delivery on commitments, escalate issues when needed and mitigation of risks as they arise
Strong self-management and ability to work in ambiguity
Proactive, demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and strong ability to drive peers and above to timely decisions
Lead requirements gathering exercises, understanding the what and why from a business perspective before determining the technology how
Partner with internal and external technical teams to understand and influence the appropriate menu of technologies and tools to be used for solution delivery efforts
Manage relationships and anticipate the needs of business partners, IT colleagues, and external vendors
Lead, design and build proof of concepts
Ensure design and development adheres to quality and compliance requirements
Accountable for all phases of the solution lifecycle
Deep technical skills
Tableau business intelligence reporting
Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
In depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and design
34034BR Basic Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Information Systems

years work experience in Information Technology
