AV Customer Support Technician--Indianapolis, IN

Avidex is seeking to fill the position of a Customer Support Technician. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Support Manager, other company resources, manufacturers, and customers to maintain and support audiovisual systems. This individual will perform their work at our customer's facility and will primarily work with our customer to support their AV systems and end users. Apply now! Avidex awaits you!
The successful candidate will:
Have a high school diploma, an Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred
Have a minimum 4 years' experience within the audio visual industry; post-secondary education may be substituted for experience
Understand and demonstrate intermediate networking skills, have an intermediate understanding of audiovisual control systems, setting up audio and video conferencing systems, setting audio gain stages and adjusting common audio equipment and video display systems
Be able to work before or after normal working hours at the customer's facility as well as overtime with little to no advance notice
Be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
Be able to meet the company's driving requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills including proficiency using Microsoft Windows and MS Office and basic networking skills
Willingness to learn, exceed customer's expectations and strong work ethic

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
