Responsibilities:
The Clinton IT team serves the Elanco manufacturing sites at Clinton Labs and Elanco Terre Haute providing information and solutions that sustain and improve all manufacturing and support areas. This includes planning, development, deployment, and support for the sites
information technology
needs.
The Information Analyst functions as an integrator between business and technology and uses business and technical literacy to identify and deliver innovative solutions to ensure business needs are met. Responsibilities include performing business analysis to define systems strategy and requirements, designing/prototyping solutions, and deploying them. Must perform regular analysis of client issues, IT business processes, and day-to-day support activities and strive to optimize the value obtained from Quality and SAP information systems.
Business Analyst Focus 50%
Develop an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing processes within Elanco Manufacturing and apply knowledge to suggest improvements to business processes
Work with Process Engineers, Operations, Quality, and TS/MS to identify, analyze and implement IT solutions that improve the efficiency and decrease the variability of the process
Serve as business integrator for Clinton and Terre Haute covering
Quality applications and SAP Extended member of Elanco manufacturing
IT Portfolio Governance team to provide direction, develop strategy, make IT-related decisions, and to oversee the execution of IT projects
Create and champion business cases for innovation within Quality and SAP
Provide advice and influence during business requirements gathering to ensure decisions lead to a solution that supports business needs
Actively network with other IT resources to stay aware of initiatives going on around the company, inform others of our own initiatives, share reusable solutions, and champion reuse of solutions and best practices at Clinton
Technical Integrator Focus 25%
Critically evaluate user requests, and use technical and process knowledge to determine underlying true business needs
Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
Provide expertise and leadership in the development and integration of IT solutions that support systems and business processes in assigned areas initially Quality applications and SAP Be the release and service manager for
Quality applications and for SAP at Clinton and Terre Haute Project
Project Management Focus 25%
Lead projects and programs at Clinton/Terre Haute and within the Elanco Manufacturing
IT Network Author project deliverables including project charter, change proposal, and project plan
Develop or update project plans including the determination of project activities and milestones
Manage execution of projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
Provide ongoing communication on projects, issues, and major deliverables to management and staff
Simultaneous management/oversight of multiple projects across job function
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
5 plus years of experience in Information Technology
2 plus years of experience with quality applications and SAP
Previous Technology Integrator/Business Analyst experience
Previous experience in process manufacturing
