Responsibilities
Corporate Audit
services
is the independent audit and consulting function of Eli Lilly and Company. Its mission is to assist Lilly in achieving objectives guided by a philosophy of adding value. Corporate Audit Services is focused on global coverage of five practice areas: finance, information technology, privacy, anti-corruption and ethical interactions with external parties. Additionally, Sarbanes- Oxley (SOx) audits are performed. The Lead Auditor position is responsible for efficient and effective design and execution of audit engagements and projects. Position supervises cross-functional teams of up to 8 persons on domestic and international audits to test compliance with good internal
control
practices
and corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities include assessing risks, setting scope, designing audit programs, coaching and developing teams, sharing key learning across the organization, and making process improvements. Additionally, the Lead Auditor will participate on process ownership teams within Corporate Audit Services designed to work closely with the business to identify emerging risks and monitor remediation plans. This position reports to a member of the Corporate Audit Services
management
team.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
5 or more years work experience
Experience with designing audits to identify control risks and lead their implementation in a high quality and efficient manner, consistent with Corporate Audit Services procedures and IIA standards.
Experience planning, leveraging resources, and administering domestic and international audits
Experience supervising audit fieldwork and coaching team members
Prior experience maintaining and developing skills related to current audit policies and practices
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this employment position

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
