Responsibilities
Stay aligned and actively involved with internal customers, understanding their issues, priorities and objectives.
Develop and maintain control system documentation and code define requirements, develop system design documentation, design system architecture, and develop code.
Ensure a safe working environment through compliance with safety rules and improving safety culture.
Assess and maintain the qualified state of systems supported.
Interact with various regulatory agencies as a subject matter expert during audits and assessments.
Provide technical automation expertise as active member of filling process team.
Provide technical stewardship of equipment and processes in areas of responsibility (includes clear understanding of mixing, cleaning and sterilization technologies)
Establish and monitor/trend process data as a tool for assessing equipment performance using C4i methodology and driving continuous improvements
Identify and deliver improvement opportunities (equipment upgrades, efficiency increases, human error prevention, etc.) associated with processes and equipment within the area Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve more difficult process and operational issues
Understand equipment reliability issues with the objective of improvement
Utilize formal problem solving techniques, including Root Cause Analysis, to resolve equipment issues
Respond to and implement customer requests related to equipment and processes
Communicate effectively with others
Provide oversight to Engineering Specialist(s) that support the area
Evaluate all activities for impact on qualified state of equipment/processes and utilize appropriate tools/processes as necessary (change control, HOLD, etc.)
Responsible for system/component classification and maintenance strategy for equipment Implement corrections, corrective actions, and countermeasures arising from CAPAs
Participate in Periodic Reviews for systems
Lead IQ/OQ/PQ activities (including commissioning activities of new equipment or areas)
Develop scope for capital projects targeted at both short and longer term needs
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (or equivalent work experience)

Additional Skills and Preferences
Previous automation or process engineering experience
Experience programming Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platform
Experience programming Allen-Bradley FTView SE platform
Pharmaceutical industry experience
Commissioning and Qualification and
computer
System Validation experience
Strong troubleshooting skills
Good written and oral communications, including demonstrated ability to create and review technical documents
Working knowledge of a technical automation role
Strong
interpersonal and communications skills to be able to work effectively
in a team-based environment and to interact with global regulatory
agencies
Strong technical knowledge and problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Strong computer skills in a variety of software packages (Microsoft Office, JMP, etc.)
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals
Additional Information
Standard 8 hour days, after-hour/on-call support may be required for systems operating 24/7/365
Maintenance shutdown support for processes required as scheduled
Occasional travel may be required for training, conferences, capital projects, etc

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
