Job Description Roles and
Responsibilities:
Electronic Worker Fine Pitch (EW) GENERAL
Summary:
Performs any combination of the following tasks through verbal or detailed written instructions to manufacture/disassemble/rework/repair surface mount (including J-leaded devices, 0402 or smaller devices, fine pitch, BGA, etc.) and/or through-hole printed circuit card assemblies, flex circuits, sub-assemblies, and/or electronic mechanical assembliesDuties include (but not limited to) board and/or component preparation, printed circuit board stuffing and/or assembly, touch up, manually soldering components, box-buildingPerform modifications or upgrades or removal and/or replacement of electro-mechanical, surface mount (including J-leaded devices, 0402 or smaller devices, fine pitch, BGA, etc.), through-hole componentsTends machines that solder/desolder, press, shape, wind, or place component partsCleans and deglosses parts using cleaning devices, solutions, and abrasivesPreforms intermediate assembly tasks, such as conformal coating, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts and assembliesMay perform informal, self in-process checks on manufactured items prior to submitting to authorized formal inspection and/or test personnel for determining product validation and final acceptanceMay assemble cabinets, chassis, consoles, or similar devices and with manual/electronic or electro-mechanical equipmentMay assist other related job classifications when directedRequired to interpret process routings, wiring diagrams and similar production planning documents or drawingsShould be familiar with the collection and analysis of data for Statistical Process ControlsPerforms other required activities, as assignedMust demonstrate competencies necessary to meet business requirementsMay perform as a member or leader of a functional and/or cross-functional teamQualifications and Education Requirements:
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School degree or GED equivalentEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two years experience in assembly/rework/repair of electronic equipment including circuit cards with surface mount and through-hole components is desired but not mandatoryKNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
A practical knowledge of such as:
electronic component identification, ability to work from routing instructions, and interpretation of mechanical and electrical schematics is requiredPrevious training in industry soldering and assembly standards (IPC 610, IPC-620, IPC 7711, and/or J-STD-001) and experience in Electronic Worker Cable & Chassis, and Electronic Worker Circuit Card positions is preferredSolder verification for fine pitch is required including some/all of IPC 7711 Rework proceduresESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Maximum weight to be handled will be aligned with Environmental Safety and Health governing documentationThe majority of the work is to be performed in a sitting positionMay occasionally perform duties in a standing, kneeling or squatting positionGood eyesight and ability to distinguish color is necessary#CJ Secret For more information, please email us at Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $20.00-22.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experienceThis pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market locationPlease Note:
