Summary:
We are looking for qualified Construction and Quality resources to support several life science and semiconductor clients throughout the country.
Ideal candidates should have previous expertise with overseeing field inspection activities involved in project construction and support 3rd party Quality Inspection services on behalf of the client.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of inspection and evaluation of new construction, which may include complex structural and non-structural components, including plumbing, mechanical, electrical, green building, and fire protection systems for compliance with the appropriate codes, other applicable regulations, and approved plans and specifications.
Compile, analyze, and evaluate findings of investigations and inspections, and issue standard construction and occupancy permits and approve final inspection certificates.
Maintains clear, concise, and comprehensive records and reports related to inspection activities.
Responsibilities include conducting field inspections of private and public construction projects', structural, plumbing, mechanical and/or electrical installations, to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Maintain files and reports regarding inspection and plan check activities and findings.
Position Requirements and
Qualifications:
5
years of relevant QA/QC experience performing construction inspection.
Demonstrated knowledge of building-related national codes, principles and techniques of building inspection, major types of building construction, materials, and methods, accepted safety standards and methods of building construction for commercial buildings, and pertinent understanding of federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
Working knowledge of the ICC, CBC, and applicable local codes.
Must possess prior inspection experience of new commercial construction.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a team player and able to work well with clients and co-workers.
Education:
American Welding Society (AWS)/Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification, American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Level II certification, and/or ICC certification preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
