Asphalt/Pave Superintendent
Summary
Per S Group is working with a leading heavy civil contractor looking to hire an Asphalt/PavingSuperintendentin Indianapolis. The ideal candidate has roadway construction and paving experience with asphalt and concrete. INDOT experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work with Project Managers and Foreman to plan and organize activities relating to the construction projects
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget the time required to meet deadlines
- Assist in the implementation of quality control programs and safety
- Properly notify clients of delays due to weather, changes, etc
Preferred Skills and Expertise
- 5
years of heavy civil construction experience - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong management skills
- Computer knowledge and efficiency
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Functions effectively as part of a team
- Exhibits strong leadership qualities
