Assists with the management of 10-50 production employees and temporary's in the Production Department.
Is responsible for assisting with the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; assisting in appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Actively participate as a member of the Safety Committee.
Sets up and runs machines as needed.
Trains employees on proper processes and procedures and completes applicable documentation.
Assists in rewarding, disciplining, and directing employees in the production area.
Flexibility to work mid-shift hours (11a-7:
30p).
Flexibility to cover planned or unplanned absences of the Production Supervisors.
Assists with production data entry including safety documentation, quality documentation, daily production entries, and efficiency metrics.
