Summary
Under minimal direction, independently validates performance improvement projects across all plan types.
Essential Competencies, Duties and Responsibilities
  • Reviews and validates MCOs PIPs according to Protocol 1. Validation of Performance Improvement Projects: A Mandatory EQR-Related Activity, February 2023, and approved state timeline.
  • Knowledge of methodologic soundness of PIP design, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, quality improvement tools and processes, and intervention initiation and evaluation.
  • Ability to translate PIP submission and validation outcomes into written validation reports.
  • Serves as a technical resource for the MCOs.
  • In collaboration with PIP team lead, facilitates conference calls with state and MCO staff to provide technical assistance and guidance on PIP validation feedback and required documentation.
  • Ability to work on multiple PIPs in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to organize assigned PIPs and meet all deliverable timelines.
  • Accountable for the timeliness, completeness, accuracy, and quality of all assigned functions and tasks.
  • Represent HSAG in a professional manner, at all times.
Compensation: 64K-77K/annually
Job Requirements:
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-care related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of healthcare quality improvement experience.

Other Qualifications
  • Health plan experience related to quality improvement is preferred.
  • Quality improvement review/validation and analytical experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Windows environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
