POSITION SUMMARY The Training & Development Specialist will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for employees.
The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating a wide variety of specific training and development programs, systems, and processes to address strategic priorities.
Priorities are aligned in the areas of employees' development, leader development and company-wide initiatives.
Works in partnership with the organization's leadership team and other functions to determine specific action plans around the creation and delivery of programs and manages their implementation and ongoing administration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
(This will include various methods of training:
instructor-led in-person, virtual, E-learning, etc.
) Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements Assesses training materials prepared by instructors Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development Identifies relevant best practices through benchmarking and research; recommends specific processes, tools, and methodologies to address priorities Proficient in working with SMEs on the creation of training materials NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, Business Management, or another related field 3-5 years' experience facilitating training with teams to achieve desired metrics linked to the organization's goals and strategic plans Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to design and implement effective training Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives Ability to perform needs assessments and to analyze areas of strength and weakness Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint Proficient administration skills within an LMS environment (Workday a plus) Prior experience with using authoring tools such as Articulate or Camtasia preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Travel as required (between 5-10%, approximately) #LI-JS1 #LI-HYBRID Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
