Technical Business Analyst

This position serves as a Business Analyst with an Indiana Government Agency working on the E-filing and Innovation team. The focus is on maintaining and supporting existing application suites, as well as assisting the development of new applications. This position assists in the implementation of pilot projects introduced by various innovation committees utilizing new and existing applications. Essential Duties/
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of applications supported by the government agency. This position provides application support to various stakeholders including judges, court staff, clerks, attorneys, and self-represented litigants. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide support for current software applications as well as future applications Performs activities through the software development life cycle, including eliciting business requirements; testing and implementing new software; maintaining and enhancing applications over time Communicate with stakeholders on the development of new applications and/or system enhancements to improve business processes, overcome known problems or further fulfill user requests Serve as a lead or on a project team(s), for updates, enhancements, upgrades, and new applications Train users, create and maintain supplemental materials, and resolve elevated questions originating through the help desk Ensure issues and risks are identified through demonstrations and testing; track, report, and resolve or mitigate in timely manner Interact with developers and/or stakeholder groups, discuss progress, deadlines, answers questions, provide feedback, add additional requirements, and set goals Resolve problem situations in a professional manner and accurately communicate pertinent information to end users and management Additional duties as assigned

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
