This study will test implementation of an evidence-based CRC intervention into primary care practices to increase CRC screening and support future implementation.
A Research Assistant will interview clinic staff regarding CRC screenings using scripted questions.
The Research Assistant may also help with literature reviews, data entry, fidelity monitoring, attend team meetings, and assist the Project Manager as needed.
Training for the position will occur in-person at the IU School of Nursing on the Indianapolis campus.
The majority of the work may be preformed remotely after training is complete.
Qualifications:
1.
Communicated and document patient response during data collection.
2.
Work as a member of the interdisciplinary research team.
3.
Knowledge of research skills, university procedures, and human subjects' protection.
4.
Strong analytical thinking, self-motivation, and the ability to function independently while maintaining confidentiality.
5.
Acute observation shills and attention to detail.
6.
Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets, as well as databases (REDCap & Microsoft Teams).
7.
Ability to complete detailed work accurately and according to study timelines.
Previous clinical research experience is preferred.
