Indianapolis, IN Indianapolis, IN Full-time Full-time Up to $86,607 a year Up to $86,607 a year Harsha Autism Center is seeking a full-time (BCBA) to provide center-based services to children with autism spectrum disorder.
Job responsibilities include (but not limited to the following):
Develops and maintains working relationships with other providers Coordinates and collaborates with other staff members Participation in staff and leadership meetings Maintains a positive and professional working environment Communicates effectively about all ideas, successes or concerns Client Programming Conducts intake meetings with parent/caregivers and client observations Prepares written assessments, assessing service recipient from multiple perspectives, including family functioning, social, academic, and behavioral, skills, strengths, barriers, self-sufficiency, treatment history, and utilizing various assessment instruments as appropriate.
Conducts VB-MAPP, Essential for Living, Vineland, and other assessments Conducts functional assessments and analyses, develops behavioral treatment plans, carries out competency-based parent/caregiver/staff training, analyzes data, monitors implementation of treatment plans, adjusts treatment plans, and completes periodic progress reports.
Prepares written service plan, skill acquisition program incorporating input from service recipients, involved service providers, and clearly identifying problem areas and needs, strategies and service objectives.
Conducts observation of the individual in appropriate settings such as home, school, or community Collaborate with other BCBAs, as needed, with design and development of the behavioral aspects of program services Implements language and academic programs Participates in parent/caregiver meetings, as needed Participates in child-specific team, family assessment and planning team activities, and other interdisciplinary, diagnostic, or planning meetings Monitors cases and initiates goal transition process when appropriate Provides direct behavioral services recipients, including individual, family, and siblings, as needed Collaborates and coordinates with other case-involved service providers and related service professionals Prepares written discharge summary and plan Links service recipients with external programs or services Reviews case activities and daily record keeping for both data analysis and billing purposes Requirements:
Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or related field, and credential as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and flexible and process excellent interpersonal, verbal and communication skills.
Successful candidate must have knowledge and expertise with case management, personal outcome measures.
Supervisory experience is strongly desired.
Must demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills and present a professional image at all times.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
