Overall Responsibility:
Assists Human Resources Director with developing and implementing Company policies and procedures.
Assists with investigations, facilitates process of litigation, unemployment, EEOC, FLSA, ADA and various employee grievances.
Duties Include:
Assists with investigations, prepares and develops employee relation issues and practices.
Oversee all logging and payroll functions.
Assist all departments in day to day operation of agency as requested by manager.
Assists with development of the new hire orientation process for all positions.
Facilitates processing of litigation, unemployment hearings, workers compensation claims/hearings, EEOC and FLSA.
Assists in development of education programs.
Works on various employee relations projects.
Maintains current knowledge of and ensures that Human Resources Department complies with Company's policies and procedures and state and federal laws.
Responsible for day-to-day administration of policies covering workers compensation claims and appropriate placement of employees regarding accommodations.
Interviews prospective applicants and evaluates qualifications.
Make offers of employment.
Administers, organizes and conducts training for Directors and Supervisors.
Ensures that all human resources files are in compliance with federal and state laws.
Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all personnel records in accordance with federal and state laws.
Responsible for starting and maintaining all personnel licenses, certificates, and every document that is needed to maintain 100% accuracy as well as integrity.
Oversees and administers performance evaluations to ensure that all employees are given performance evaluations at the appropriate time.
Ensures that annual TB, physicals, licenses and background checks are up to date and that all documentation is in personnel files.
Works with outlying offices to ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Administers and explains benefits to employees, serves as liaison between employees and insurance carriers.
Provides advice, assistance and follow-up on Company policies, procedures and documentation.
Coordinates the resolution of specific policy related and procedural problems and inquiries.
Education:
Two (2) - Four (4) year degree in human resources or related field preferred.
Experience:
One (1) year work experience in human resources or related field preferred.
Additional Requirements:
Must have telephonic communications available at all times during Able to work 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday at our Indianapolis office.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
