Investigator -- Law Firm -- PART-TIME

Indianapolis, IN Indianapolis, IN Part-time Part-time $18 - $25 an hour $18 - $25 an hour Investigator/Courier (PART-TIME) needed at growing medium sized law firm practicing mostly in the State of Indiana.
Duties include, but are not limited to, Investigating accident scenes, taking photos of accident scenes, interviewing witnesses to accidents, look for security cameras and secure the footage needed, making pick-ups and deliveries for the firm, transporting clients, getting signatures.
Hours are typically 8 hours/day Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Our current guy was a retired State Trooper.
He is retiring after 19 years with us.
This job is ideal for someone who is retired with a law enforcement background.
Office located in historic Fort Harrison on east side of Indianapolis.
Free parking.
Competitive wages (hourly rate depends on experience).
Company car is typically available for all travel.
If not, mileage reimbursement is provided.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
