External Description:
The Technical Training Specialist is responsible for the oversight and coordination of technical training events for field associates.
This position manages a database and multi-step process that allows our field operations associates to obtain training classes critical for their development.
This individual will own and Manage the online Training Catalog.
They will improve processes and workflow to streamline the overall program.
This position will coordinate and communicate training schedules and evaluate applicable outside training resources to ensure we are always providing the best training.
This individual prepares reports and information for TriMedx leadership to accurately determine if the program is effective.
This role will support the development and growth of the Technical Training Program through strategy, personal development and supporting positive impact to company financials.
This role will work closely with Service Strategy, Supply Chain, HR and Operations to support a Company Training Strategy and bring more visibility to our program.
Location:
Indianapolis, Indiana; we are seeking candidates in the central Indiana region, within approximately 70 miles of Indianapolis.
Our Central (Corporate) Office is located on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
Position is Hybrid (a mix of remote & in-office - approximately 1 day a week, plus as needed), with occasional travel.
Responsibilities Technical Training Program Support Monitor training requests daily to ensure requests progress through the process without delay Issue POs, get confirmation, manage any legal documentation needs through process Monitor and manage supplier training schedules, get quotes and confirmations, manage TRIMEDX technical training catalog Create reports on a weekly and monthly to capture training completed, compare it to budgets and strategy plans, and monitor ROI of these events Assist with group training events as needed Process and Workflow Improvements Make recommendations for improvements to the technical training database and the workflow for technical training to reduce delays, automate processes and increase technician satisfaction.
Work with training suppliers and field operations to anticipate training needs and resolve problems to minimize cost and get the best experience for the technician.
Work with HR and Operations to improve documentation of training and certifications and have a centralized training repository.
Contributes ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of training team's processes.
Program Improvement and Internal Collaboration Work with Technical Training Manager to establish the framework and support to promote and facilitate the strategic training of our associates by external and internal experts.
Support the creation and Implementation of a strategic technical training plan that aligns with our service strategies and supports our customer and financial needs.
Maintaining and continuing to develop mutually beneficial relationships with Service Strategy, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, HR, Quality and Field associates to support new ideas and program improvements.
Other duties/projects as assigned.
Skills and Experience Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.
e.
Word, Outlook, Excel) required.
Project Management Skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Ability to establish and manage positive relationships.
Ability to produce reports.
Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills.

Ability to Adapt - the individual will need to adapt quickly to changes in scope or direction and be flexible to adopting changes quickly.
Education and Qualifications Associates degree or 3-5 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
3-5 years' experience working in a corporate environment.
Occasional overnight travel.
