is searching for a full-time Human Resource Generalist.
Cornerstone is a thirty-year-old, fully integrated healthcare real estate platform solely focused on leasing, managing, building and developing healthcare real estate assets.
Cornerstone currently has 169 employees with full-service offices in Indianapolis, Detroit, Columbus and Louisville.
The HR Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource department including new employee onboarding, administering pay, benefits, and lease, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assist in compensation and benefit plans administration.
Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Conduct employee onboarding Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
Provide support to employees as it relates to disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
At least one to two years of human resource management experience preferred.
