Position Description:
As a Certinia Tech Lead Developer (Certinia formerly known as FinancialForce), at CAI you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Professional Services Automation (PSA) system.
You will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including a product owner, project manager, quality assurance specialists, and other stakeholders, to deliver robust and efficient solutions that meet our business needs.
As an expert in the Certinia application platform, a deep understanding of the overall professional services consulting business processes will be essential to assist in the future development of our business applications.
Position
Responsibilities:
oContinue developing and customizing the Certinia PSA system to meet the specific requirements of CAI's professional services operations, ensuring high-quality solutions that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
oCollaborate with the product team and stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and designs.
oDesign and implement complex workflows, approval processes, and automation within the Certinia PSA system to optimize internal operations and enhance user experience.
oCollaborate with other developers to integrate the PSA system with other internal systems to ensure seamless data flow and accurate information across platforms.
oMonitor and maintain the health of the PSA system, proactively identifying and resolving any technical issues or performance bottlenecks.
oProvide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to internal teams, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal disruption to operations.
oCollaborate with technical writers to produce documentation related to system design, configurations, customizations, and best practices.
oStay up to date with the latest Certinia platform updates and features, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system functionality and security.
oCollaborate with product owner and stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and deliver PSA projects, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to timelines.
Requirements include:
Position Requirements:
oBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
oMinimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Certinia Developer, with a focus on Professional Services Automation (PSA) having development experience in all modules within the platform.
oProven expertise in customizing and developing Certinia PSA solutions, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
oSolid understanding of professional services processes, including resource management, project tracking, time tracking, and invoicing.
oExperience with Certinia integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and data migration will be highly advantageous.
oStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
oCertinia certifications (e.
g.
, Certinia Administrator, Certinia Platform Developer) will be a plus.
oPrior experience in professional services or consulting environments will be an advantage.
oA proactive and result-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs and drive operational efficiency.
oPrior experience maintaining and deploying configuration between a development, sandbox and production environment.
