Marketing Analyst

Overview:
The Market Intelligence Analyst aids in the development of the go-to-market strategy using market intelligence gathering, interpretation, and reporting.
This role uses objective analysis of external market data, competitor analysis, customer insights, and internal reporting to derive actionable business recommendations.
The Analyst will conduct complex analysis of growth opportunities across product categories.
Additionally, this position will work collaboratively with our field team to identify product conversion opportunity, track promotional activity, and support growth initiatives.
The Market Intelligence Analyst will also conduct and analyze competitive market intelligence across the industry.
This role will work closely and collaboratively with the Marketing, Finance, IT, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.

Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities Create market size and growth models for core business segments; identify and prioritize segments for growth opportunities Assist with strategic marketing, product, and sales initiatives by gathering relevant market and competitor information, developing detailed models and working with key stakeholders to develop business recommendations Conduct research, analysis, and regular reporting of market, industry, economic, channel and competitive data Proactively mine and analyze data sources to develop hypotheses and identify insights that increase stakeholder understanding Analyze market trends and incorporate findings into presentations and reports Develop reporting dashboards to deliver data and insights to marketing and sales leaders Utilize various internal and external data sources to identify key trends and implications for the organization Cross-functional collaboration with Sales & Operations leadership and all support functions to develop effective promotion strategies and communicate results Provide competitive market intelligence analytics and insights on a regular basis Monitor and report on activity across all digital platforms Aid in the development of corporate marketing strategies to increase customer engagement by performing campaign response analysis across all digital platforms Identify trends and insights across relevant industry groups Create, manage and report on weekly and monthly digital content engagement Monitor and report on digital campaigns across all digital platforms Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems Participate in the management of product management on FinishMaster website in conjunction with the Marketing Assistant Assist in list management and engagement tracking in MailChimp email platform Evaluate new technologies and application to improve and optimize marketing team performance and act as Project Manager for all future application implementations This list may not be inclusive of the total scope of job functions to be performed.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS Experience & Competencies:
Requires a bachelors degree in business, marketing, informatics, or related field; MBA in Marketing or M.
S.
in Informatics preferred Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in competitive intelligence or marketing analytics Efficient project management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently Excellent analytical skills with ability to present ideas, conclusions, and recommendations with clarity to diverse audiences Deep understanding of data-driven marketing; thorough understanding of marketing KPIs Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment centered on open communication and collaboration Solid understanding of marketing principles and awareness of social media strategies Strong computer skills, advanced experience in Excel, Power BI, Data Warehouse, email marketing software and HTML a plus ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
