Quality Assurance Analyst Automated II
Position
Summary:
Responsible for developing and maintaining an automated test suite in accordance with the Company's architecture, design, coding standards and processes.
Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected.
Test solution in terms of functionality, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other legacy and/or external systems.
The analyst does this by ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified before the product goes live.
Ability to assist with resource scheduling and project management tasks which may include representing QA in Project Leadership and Executive Sponsor meetingsAbility to coordinate and lead cross-team test effortsAbility to provide input during the process of developing acceptance criteria and designsAbility to assist and mentor others with all aspects of manual and automated testing as requiredJob Requirements:
Minimum of an associate degree in a related field, with a bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experienceExcellent manual testing skillsPrevious insurance experience preferredUnderstanding of programming logicAbility to learn new technologiesProficiency in testing toolsAbility to work on own with minimal supervisionParticipation in ongoing Insurance, Technology and Quality Assurance educationExperience building or maintaining automation framework such as Selenium, Lambdatest, etc.
Experience with test management tools such as Jira SoftwareStrong ability to troubleshoot and work through system related issuesAbility to research, recommend and stay abreast of advancements in automated test tools and automated best practicesAbility to communicate clearlyThe ability to develop applications in Java and AngularWorking knowledge of and stays current with industry-standard best practicesDeveloping knowledge of several current and complex programming languagesIn-depth application-specific knowledge for multiple applications or modules#LI-TH1#HO Recommended Skills Architecture Executive Sponsor Jira Java (Programming Language) Manual Testing Problem Solving Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
