Surgical Trauma Critical Care is a fast-paced unit with a variety of patient conditions suffering from surgical trauma who need high intensity care.
The types of trauma are a range of different types of accidents.
Most patients are in relation to ortho and abs.
Teamwork and an ongoing learning environment are always the focus.
On this unit nurses provide complete, continuous care for patients suffering from severe illness or injury.

Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
Current or previous PCA or Tech experience required.
