Business/Quality Analyst
Indianapolis, IN Indianapolis, IN Contract Contract $55 - $60 an hour $55 - $60 an hour As part of your role, you will work closely with both IT and business teams to gather complex business requirements, identify interdependencies, and assess potential risks and issues.
You will also analyze business operations data and processes to formulate effective solutions for various business problems.
In addition, you will be responsible for creating functional design specifications, documenting business processes and workflows, as well as developing comprehensive test cases and test scripts for medium to large projects.

This is a hybrid position, and the selected candidate will be required to be in the office for at least three days a week.
Essential Duties/
Responsibilities:
Facilitate communication between the business and the technical staff.
Perform troubleshooting on IT system issues.
Identify opportunities for effectively satisfying information needs through automation.
Participate in requirements gathering sessions with program and IT personnel.
Ability to define system requirements, scope, and objectives.
Provide support to the development team for business requirement issues.
Create test plans, test cases, and scripts and conduct user-acceptance testing of the system.
Document software defects and participate in defect analysis meetings.
Provide documentation for new or modified information systems, including operational procedures and manuals, edit/audits, mapping guides, and companion guides.
Provide change request (enhancement management).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of information technology best practices and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
