The Director Finance Midwest Region role is based in Indianapolis, IN and reports directly to the VP Finance Midwest Region. What you'll get to doProvide leadership and direction for the Finance function in the Midwest RegionOversee financial planning, capital planning, reporting, and forecastingInvolved with strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives and ensure the safeguard of assets through the establishment and adherence to effective controls and proceduresInvolved with Regional and Corporate Finance and Shared Service organizations, ensuring efficient and effective financial processes in compliance with all policies, reporting requirements, and information requestsMonitor and analyze operating results against budget and past performanceDevelop excellent relationships and act as resource to business leadersRecommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating resultsEssential Experience and SkillsBachelor's Degree in Finance/AccountingAt least 10 years of experience in accounting and/or industry financial positions covering accounting and finance functionsStrong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, problem solving and decision-making skillsCommitment and engagement through high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the companyEntrepreneurial thinking combined with the pragmatism of what is achievablePreferred Experience and SkillsExperience in SAP and Oracle Hyperion Essbase and PlanningExperience collaborating effectively with Corporate Shared Services and IT to enhance and streamline processes and controls.Master's degreeStrong financial modelling competency as it relates to strategic planning, business development, organic growth, and MWork Environment Role operates primarily in an office environment.
