Premiere Credit of North America is hiring! We are in need of a compliance analyst to join our compliance department. The Analyst is responsible for reviewing, researching, and applying knowledge of all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations to create written summaries of legal demands and complaints.

Responsibilities:
Tracking, reviewing, interpreting, and preparing recommendations regarding federal, state, and local laws, regulations, court case decisions, regulations, policies, and current legislation associated with third-party collection agencies, federally-insured student loans, medical debt, unsecured creditor based debt, purchased debt and other asset classes
Provides external periodic reporting including but not limited to MBE/WBE requirements and other client informational reporting
Assists in jurisdictional licensing including state audits
Assists in client audits
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
A. EDUCATION

MUST HAVE:

4 year college or university degree

B. EXPERIENCE

MUST HAVE:
PC experience in a windows environment
Experience in researching and interpreting statutes and regulations and communicating the findings in a well-defined, concise manner
Strong analytical, research, and oral communication skills
Detailed, organized and accountable work ethic
Must be able to write and verbally communicate well

PREFERRED:
Third party collection agency Compliance experience
In depth knowledge of federal and state statutes and regulations affecting collection agencies
Knowledge of federal insured student loan programs

Ability to interpret and summarize statutes and regulations

Ability to maintain confidentially of sensitive material
Ability to maintain intense mental focus for extended periods

PREFERRED:
Knowledge of third party collection agency statutory requirements
Knowledge of the student loan programs governed by the US Department of Education, including Direct Loans
Familiarity with major sources of laws, regulations, and legislation that affect collection agencies
Knowledge of or experience with licensing and certification requirements for collection agencies
Knowledge of or experience with FISMA and Business Continuity Plans
Knowledge of internal control evaluation processesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
