Responsibilities The Video Services Analyst will provide technical management, business integration, and administration for Lilly's Global Video Services streaming media platform based on the Kaltura Video Platform. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure both the successful operation of the service and delivery of intended business value through the service offering. A secondary responsibility of this role will be to provide support across various other services within the Global Video Services area.
Key Objectives/Deliverables
Service Strategy/Service Design
Partner with Global Video Services Architect and Global Network Services Architect to provide input on new and existing Video Service Strategies and Service Designs
Service Transition
Participate with vendor partner and implementation core team for the initial service transition of the streaming media service into the Global Video Services organization.
Manage ongoing Service Transition as a result of change management and new vendor releases
Enable the business customers to achieve the desired value
Change Management: controlling the assets and configuration items (the underlying components such as hardware, software etc.) associated with the system
Service Validation: testing and transition planning to ensure that users, support personnel and the production environment have been prepared for the release to production
Service Operation
Ensure successful delivery of the streaming media service in alignment with expected warranty and utility for the service
Oversee the daily overall health of the service
Manage service disruptions in partnership with the appropriate GNS Regional Service Delivery lead and/or GNS Service Delivery Manager
Manage and maintain system documentation and associated processes (e.g. security management)
Detect and respond to trends associated with recurring issues and effectively handle routine end-user requests and management of service access
Serve as the primary technical Interface with streaming media platform vendor. Includes support,metrics, escalations, communications, and service improvements
Consult with users on use of tool to realize the most business value
Consult with non-executive users on use of live streaming channel
Continual Service Improvement
Work with primary business area stakeholders, Video Services Architect, and GNS service Delivery Leads to identify, prioritize and act upon service improvement opportunities
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree (or equivalent work experience)
At least 5 years recent work experience supporting IT business processes/IT systems
Strong analytical and technical skills, preferreably with experience implementing or supporting various streaming media technologies.
Experience with the Kaltura video platform
Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships, effective controls and monitoring processes
General understanding of infrastructure technologies, including operating systems, storage, backup technologies, virtualization, compute appliances, network and data center, etc.
Demonstrated success at working effectively with external suppliers and vendors

Demonstrated success at engaging and influencing management and peers, and working as part of a matrix organization without direct authority
Knowledge of Lilly business environment, requirements and corporate culture

Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, etc.)

The Global Network Services (GNS) organization manages a complex environment consisting of more than 7000
network devices supporting WAN, LAN, Voice, Video, and Unified Communication capabilities. These capabilities are used across every business function and geographic location and because all other IT capabilities ride on top of these fundamental capabilities, they must be executed with a high level of quality and control. The Global Video Services component of GNS manages the Business Televsion (BTV), Global Video Conferencing, and Global Streaming Video Services.
The Video Services Analyst role will provide technical management, business integration, and administration for the Global Video Services streaming media platform. A secondary responsibility of this role will be to provide support across various other services within the Global Video Services area.
The position reports directly to the GNS US Service Delivery Manager and will work closely with the Global Video Services Architect.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
