Purpose of Position:
Provides support within the scope of contract to support roles and responsibilities for Asset Management. This role will utilize data collected from a variety of tools (SCCM, ITCM, manual entry, etc.) which will be stored in a database. Data that is stored in this format will be used to create customized reports using either the toolset, excel, BOXI or other mechanism to formulate and deliver the customized end product. Position requires individual to closely interact with end users and management diplomatically and technically to meet the requirements of the contracted services.
Work hours and days to be established by contract requirements. Overtime may be required for this position as necessary for after hour support.
Position
Summary:
Day to Day Operation Skills
Provides on-site verification and validation of assets
Provides technical support for toolset or questions on collection methodology
Provides detailed customized reports for contract support. Reports to be delivered on a scheduled basis or may be required ad hoc.
Strong analytical ability for data interpretation
Monitor and update automated reporting requirements
Function as primary point of contact and communication for all reporting requirements
Experience in using multiple collection methodologies for asset collection and management i.e.: RF, scanners etc.
Understanding of asset management lifecycles
Experience supporting VIP and executive staff
Ability to document process and procedures
Understanding of asset collection for both network connected and non-network connected assets and how to effectively track and organize I collection database. i.e.: Apple iPad, Apple iPhones, Tablets, multi-function devices
Inventory new and reclaimed assets
Ability to travel to remote support locations
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Networking - TCP/IP, Remote Connectivity VPN, DNS
Active Directory
HP Embedded Web Server experience
Skill/Ability Knowledge:
Must have the technical ability to enable individual to work independently with minimal supervision.
Creative thinking skills for new environments allowing individual to quickly adapt to new challenges and reporting requirements.
Must be a proficient user of personal computer tools for word processing, decision support and communication. Must be skilled in problem solving techniques and repair.
Proficiency in the following areas - Networking, VPN, Wireless. Customer Service, Ticketing system applications, databases, report development, effective presentation development.
Able to understand technical concepts and can develop ways to help others learn. Ability to solve complex problems with innovative solutions. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to quickly and proactively gain an understanding of the client's business problems and deliver solutions and recommendations to solve.
Technical knowledge of computers, printers, servers, and other IT hardware
Interpersonal: Excellent customer service, technical, organizational, and communication skills -- in person and on the phone; effective listening and interviewing skills; service and team orientation. Experience: Four - Six years providing IT Asset Management support in complex manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirements:
4 - 6 years' experience providing Asset Management or equivalent services

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
