Description:
Drives project definition/execution in accordance with the project goals and objectived. Responsibilities include the definition/management of project plan, project resources (including budget), scope, realization risks/contigingencies and team communications required to develop and launch complex product development projects. Ensures project deliverables are achieved in compliance with defined the Design Control processes. ensures that projects launches are on or ahead of schedule and projects stay within budget and teimline at the desired level of quality. Presents updates to leadership as requested. Provides coaching/mentoring to others on Project Management systems and techniques.
Specialized and in-depth comprehensive knowledge and experience in a particular field, or busniess area. Duties and varied and complex often involving research, analysis and sultion development. Provides direction on issues of area of expertise and assist department leadership in setting strategic direction. Typically a higher level professional position. Requires the regular use of originality and ingenuity. Possesses and applies a comprehenvice knowledge of a particular field or business function. Is the subject matter expert. Plans, conducts, and oversees work involving the largest and most important/complex projects. Does not supervise but provides direction to team on projects and assignments. Works with minimum supervision. Reviews progress with management. Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes
Minimum: Education, Knowledge, experience, skills, and attributes required to perform the essential fuctions of the position
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline (base on situational staffing needs) and/or applicable work experience.

Years of progressive work experience in an appropriate scientific discipline, including demonstrated leadership as applied to the management of complex techincal proejcts.
10 years experience in professional project management
5 years on a product development environment
