Banquet Set-up
The responsibility of the Banquet Set-up is to work as part of the Banquet Team to ensure guest satisfaction. The banquet set-up will set up and tear down events in a friendly, detailed, efficient and professional manner according to Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport's high standards of quality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Set rooms and events according to the BEO specifications and Supervisor instructions.
Handle guest requests in a friendly manner; as necessary, request the assistance of the Set-up Supervisor or Banquet Manager.
Ensure all storage rooms are clean, organized and secure.
Ensure that all unused rooms are clean and clear.
Ensure proper maintenance (cleaning and repair) of all equipment.
Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees in all departments.
Preform all guest contact activities with a cordial, efficient and professional manner.
Requires basis English language communication skills, and the ability to carry large and heavy items on a continuous basis throughout a shift.
Requires candidates with a flexible schedule in order to work banquet events at a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

## Job Requirements:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Previous set-up experience is highly desired, but not required.
Prior hotel experience preferred.
Candidate must have the ability to carry large and heavy banquet equipment.
Continuous standing/walking throughout a shift.
Basic English language communication skills are required along with excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality and service to each guest.
Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
Each employee must treat others with respect and display superb customer service skills at all times.
