Position: AES US SBU Information Technology Asset Analyst

Basic Requirements:
Candidates must have a four year college degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business administration from an accredited college/university
Minimum of five (5) years recent verifiable experience in IT asset management role or closely related information technology function (ITIL preferred)
Must have general knowledge of IT functions, technologies, and services, particularly those relating to network, desktop and telecommunications
Must have knowledge of enterprise information technology hardware, hardware configurations and devices such as servers, SAN devices, network devices, storage devices, desktops, laptops and vendors.
Must be able to and provide recent verifiable experience of large scale deployments of equipment to multiple locations, nationally
Must have ERP (Oracle and/or SAP) experience for procurement and budget management
Must have experience managing remote systems; Active directory and Citrix
Preferred Skills:
Experience in highly available and secure environments
Experience in equipment delivery logistics, tracking inventory flows, communication regarding schedule, disposition, shipping
Experience in firewall theory
Experience with Microsoft Active Director Account Administration
Commitment to customer service excellence and teamwork
Experience maintaining information such as licenses, warranties and service agreements
Motivated self-starter able to function with a minimum of supervision
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with attention to detail
Experience with IT Asset Management in a medium to large business with understanding of processes and systems
Experience managing IT budgets, invoices and reconciliations
Able to support the life cycle of assets across 18
business units in three (3) different time zones
Position Scope:
Under general supervision, performs daily support of the operations of IT procurement and inventory management for PC hardware and software for the AES US SBU. Analyzes the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, and service agreements for the US business' hardware and software. Mitigates organizational cost increases through standardization and tracking. Tracks quality throughout the product lifetime.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Process IT purchases and maintain corresponding records, warranties, licenses, etc.
Track and analyze US SBU PC hardware (4,000+PCs) and software (1,500
applications) throughout asset lifecycle
Ensure cyber security requirements related to hardware and software in line with Company policy
Supports acquisition of desktop and server equipment including computer hardware, servers, peripherals, software and printers
Recommends asset allocation and replacement cycle within pre-determined standards
Supports $1M annual capital budget allocated to US SBU desktop lifecycle providing variances and projections
Ensures accurate accounting and billing. Investigates and resolves discrepancies
Analyze data and provide monthly asset and utilization reports for US SBU IT Leaders
Procure wireless devices and analyze .$1M in annual cellular spend to insure accurate allocations and utilization

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
