The EFT Analyst Junior -- Connect:Direct supports translation of the application and project deliverables and requirements into specific tasks for implementation.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Monitors performance, availability and capacity of all equipment and identifying/reporting potential concerns to management.
Acts as a team member for projects requiring Connect:Direct file transfer capabilities.
Functions as a single point of contact for assigned file transfer applications.
Analyzes and implements file transfer solutions based on project or application requirements.
Participates in root cause analysis and guides team to holistic solutions.
Provides business focused technical expertise to support application design, management and transformation.
Contributes to incident resolution by diagnosing the incidents, gathering additional information, following change control processes, implementing properly vetted solutions, updating incident tickets with current information, proactively documenting status for each incident ticket, escalating issues to other technical resources and/or management as appropriate, and participate/monitor the resolution and/or root cause analysis process.
Assists with specific compliance issues from both a technical and business perspective.
Coordinates with release management organization to control release of patches/upgrades to the application infrastructure.
Provides file transfer troubleshooting and support in a multi-site, multi-tier systems environment.
Supports development and documentation of standard operating procedures for end users and operations personnel.
Assists with development and documentation of systems and develops reports.
Maintains understanding of software industry and provides support for further solutions.
The position is responsible to provide on-call support in a 24/7 environment for complex technical issues, impacting production, validation or development environments, and work to troubleshoot and restore service.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field highly desirable, or demonstrated equivalent of minimum 3-5 years' experience in creating and implementing communication protocols such as HTTPs, FTP, SFTP, & FTPS, AS2, and AS3; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience with file transfer products, specifically in the Connect:Direct environment.
Experience working with technical teams, supporting file transfer projects, and working as a subject matter expert for the Connect:Direct Integration platform.
Experience with IBM/Sterling Connect: Direct in a mainframe environment.
Experience with IBM Connect:Direct, Oracle, SQL, MySQL.
Experience scripting in PERL, UNIX, JAVA desirable.
Knowledge of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) highly preferred.
Experience working in fast-paced environment with numerous team members and stakeholders desired.
