JOB LOCATION:The Systems Analyst position is located in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana
JOB DUTIES:
The Systems Analyst provides analytical support of the computer systems that are used at Community Howard Regional Health; provides services across the enterprise.
Includes project management, new system implementation, data conversion management, and report management, automation of workflow, process improvement, documentation, and education.
The Systems Analyst is assigned specific applications to support along with an expectation that they have an overall working knowledge of the applications and the hardware technology in place.
For those assigned revenue applications, this position will lead the information systems service for Revenue Cycle (Registration, Coding, Billing, Reimbursement, set up of new businesses in the system, etc. - aspects of the applications that are related to revenue for the organization) and applications related to staffing - payroll, staff scheduling, time and attendance, and all related data gathering associated with these areas.
Services are provided at Main campus, West campus, Downtown Campus, Physician Practices, offsite locations.
May support non-revenue cycle applications
May be assigned responsibility for interfaces
Experience:
Three years of experience as a computer systems analyst, preferably in a healthcare setting
Strong working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite
Strong experience in medical billing - inpatient, outpatient, behavioral health
Knowledge and proficiency in Cerner Profit application
Knowledge of financial accounting
EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
MBA or MHA preferred
LICENSE:
A valid Indiana driver s license and proof of insurance is required
Copies of both are to be provided annually
SKILLS:
Requires the individual to be committed, accountable, demonstrate leadership in their field of expertise, and understand workflow and process in detail
