The IT Infrastructure Intern will assist in providing the organization a secure and stable IT infrastructure which supports critical business applications. This position can expect to be assigned various projects/tasks in infrastructure technologies such as VMware virtualization, Linux/Windows server administration, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager, Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager, HP System Insight Manager, and other similar technologies. This position can also expect to be assigned daily operational duties such as server provisioning/decommissioning, server maintenance, account creation, permissions requests, tape rotation/cataloging.

_Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:_
Projects - Work on efforts to ensure platforms are updated and current, implement new Microsoft or partner technologies, and develop more efficient ways to manage the environment.
Production support - Provide production support by maintaining systems, addressing outages, and correcting issues, addressing user requests/tickets.
Technical Documentation/Ticketing- Provide documentation about systems state, systems changes, or systems architecture either through formal documentation or ticketing system.
Job Requirements
_Required
Qualifications:_
__ Active attendance at an accredited university with at least 2 years of study completed in the area of Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or in a related field.
Must be available to work a minimum of 8 weeks.
A current Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher.
Displays good written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrates strong computer skills including a good working knowledge of MS Office and other office productivity tools.

__ Grades of B or better in computer classes._
_Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
