Liberty Mutual Personal Insurance IT is actively searching for an IT Portfolio Lead. Personal Insurance IT supports the Personal Insurance business unit which ranks #6 in personal auto and property premium, with nearly 5% market share. We are a market leader in distribution capabilities, offering customers unrivaled access to our products and services through multiple channels.
This position will directly support the Safeco Salesforce and Mobility team. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading and facilitating the creation and maintenance of system requirements and other project related documentation to ensure successful implementation of business requirements. This candidate will assist with the creation and maintenance of performance metrics, and be responsible for understanding and researching existing and emerging Salesforce functionality, especially in the Mobile space. This position requires excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills and the ability to multitask simultaneous efforts. The candidate will work closely with management, business personnel, and other developers to deliver strategic solutions which meet the business needs.
Responsibilities:
Assists with the monitoring of test and production application environments for health, responds to problem tickets to validate requirements, assists with the triage of problems to root cause, and adherence to SLA.
May manage and coordinate the on-call support rotation.
Ensures that application documentation is maintained and current.
Leads project efforts in the requirements gathering phase to ensure proper system level documentation.
Evaluates and reports progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to IT portfolios.
Works with business and IT teams to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support.
May provide on-call support as needed.
May provide user testing as needed.
Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least three, typically five or more years of related experience as a project team member, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
Able to foster working relationships with the team and aligned departments.
