Responsibilities:
The Service Delivery Lead Knowledge Services IT is responsible for ensuring IT functional services and projects are delivered with quality, on time, on budget and meet specified business outcomes for support business areas. This position will report to the Manager Solution Services Knowledge Services IT
Influence IT service providers products, services, and technologies used with the functional engagement
Direct accountability for ensuring Service Management and Solution Delivery Milestones and metrics are met for project in the functional or technology area
Manage the demand and capacity management process between the service provider and the functional or technology area.
Coordinates preparation of work or change order
Prioritize enhancements, service and support initiatives for the service provider and supported business areas
Negotiate for and deploy resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Eliminate project barriers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Ensure effective communications across our Business Partners, IT, and Service Providers
Manage the release and deployment strategy for each system or project
Ensure supported business areas achieve and realize value out of IT investments
Manage system support and continuous improvement
Quality minded and adherence to policy/procedures and apply appropriately
Manage technical resources/contractors that support area system solutions
Maintain adherence to solution specific plans and procedures for system administration/security
Manage vendor relationships and adherence to deliverables, including support processes
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
4 plus years of technical experience in the delivery of IT solutions
2 plus years of experience with enterprise network infrastructure, security, and SharePoint systems
2 plus years experience with advanced analytics tools, and information management
Experience developing requirements and translate into technical design
Experience in triaging issues and escalate appropriately
Qualified candidate must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position
Additional Skills/Preferences:
2 years experience with SharePoint, website design and other collaborative tools
Demonstrated ability to develop requirements and translate into technical design
Demonstrated ability to consistently and significantly influence peers and leadership
Desire and ability to work independently with minimal direction
Demonstrated ability to triage issues and escalate appropriately
