HR Generalist (2nd Shift)
This is a 2nd shift position:
Monday-Friday from 2:
30-11 pm. LHH is seeking a 2nd Shift Human Resources Generalist for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. This person will serve as the primary HR contact person for all staff during the assigned shift. This is a true Generalist position where you will be responsible for employee relations and engagement, interviewing, new hire orientation, LOA, training, safety, maintaining personnel files, and more. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $73,000-82,000 per year plus a 10% bonus and includes affordable medical insurance options, Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match. H1B/Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Strong emphasis on employee engagement Serve as a liaison between the management staff and all employees by appropriately addressing questions and helping to resolve work-related issues Assist in completing candidate interviews Develop and facilitate onboarding programs for new hires Serve as the backup for LOA, Workman's Comp, and payroll duties as needed Coordinate human resources strategies including employment processing, compensation, health and safety, benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, and retention Be a difference maker and leader for a growing facility Understand the business operations, employee population, and how HR can provide value-added services Proactively identify issues and concerns and then create and implement corrective actions Organize and lead assigned locations by communicating expectations, conducting planning meetings, monitoring work, assessing results, enforcing policies, and ensuring quality and productivity standards are being achieved Evaluate and recommend training resources to support employee development QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Ethics, or related field or a PHR/SHRM Certification is preferred Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience within a manufacturing, warehousing, and/or distribution facility is required Must have experience with work-related employee issues in a manufacturing, distribution, and/or warehousing operation Must possess the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and integrity while executing responsibilities Must have a core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR such as payroll, compensation, employee relations, and benefits packages Must have demonstrated ability to influence and align organizational strategies to maximize talent capability and behaviors Must have experience in partnering with colleagues in all levels of an organization to drive priorities H1B/Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position If you or someone in your network fit this profile and would like to apply for this 2nd Shift Human Resources Generalist Job in the Indianapolis, IN area, please submit your application alongside your resume using the link in this posting.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please visit https:
