Construction Safety Manager

The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring that their company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
You will establish, implement, communicate and train internal and external customers and employees in safe work practices and compliance with OSHA requirements, NESC requirements and Company Policies.
Responsibilities:
Build strong working relationships with project staff.
Contribute to the development of the overall project safety program.
Enforce safety program initiatives and policies.
Hold pre-construction meetings with leadership and site managers to develop proper safety expectations.
Visit project site locations to ensure leadership is following all necessary federal, state, and local requirements as needed.
Ensure all necessary proper documentation is being reported.
Ensure all site crews have the necessary PPE.
Develop corrective action plans to improve safety initiatives.
Provide continuous training programs for site leaders and crew members to meet safety goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must possess strong organizational and leadership skills.
Experience with large and mid-scale commercial or industrial projects.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
OSHA certifications required.
First AID/CPR certification required.
Strong understanding of Federal and State requirements.
Experience maintaining and developing safety programs/initiatives.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
