Job Summary A fast-paced immigration practice seeks a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our firm as a Consult Specialist.
This is a full-time position and fluency in English and Spanish is required.
This role serves as one of the initial points of contact for potential firm clients.
The Consult Specialist's expertise, professionalism, and empathy will guide potential clients through the consultation process, helping them understand their options and navigate the complexities of immigration law.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about immigration law, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties Conduct consultations with potential clients, either in person, via phone, or via video conferencing, addressing their individual needs and goals.
Gather all necessary information to assess potential clients' cases.
Analyze potential clients' backgrounds, circumstances, and goals to determine the most appropriate immigration strategies.
Clearly explain the immigration processes, legal requirements, and potential challenges involved in each client's case, without providing legal advice.
Work closely with the firm's attorneys, especially the firm's Sales Attorney, in providing correct guidance and options for immigration relief for potential clients.
Educate potential clients about the firm's services, legal fees, and timelines for processing their cases.
Foster positive relationships with potential clients by demonstrating empathy, understanding, and professionalism.
Establish rapport and build trust to ease their anxieties about the immigration process.
Collaborate closely with onboarding and legal team to ensure accurate information exchange and seamless transition of cases from the consultation phase to the legal representation phase.
Stay knowledgable of immigration laws and policies.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications and Skills Fluency in both English and Spanish (conversing, reading, and writing).
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with an ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Two years of immigration law experience required.
Sales experience strongly preferred.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to address clients' concerns with sensitivity.
Detail-oriented approach to document review and information gathering.
Familiarity with immigration forms, processes, and relevant government agencies.
Proficiency in using software and tools for remote consultations (video conferencing, document sharing, etc.
).
Professionalism, reliability, and the capacity to work both independently and within a team.
Undergraduate degree preferred but not required.
Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt easily to changing circumstances.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
