Summary:
With minimal direction, acts independently to drive improvement to the Bank's current application software components, systems, infrastructure, and the principles governing their design, evolution, and delivery.
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles.
Creates formal networks to collaborate and foster consensus on solving software delivery complexities.
Understands, advocates with the team, and drives for compliance on governance topics relating to software delivery.
Assists Software Delivery and Automation Engineer Manager(s) in leading team with prioritization, scheduling, and completing complex projects.

Responsibilities:
Communicates effectively with stakeholders and developers to make proper technical decisions on projects.
Exercises creativity and resourcefulness in solving complex technical problems in a way that maximizes the Bank's value.
Collaborates with the Enterprise Architecture team to design, deliver and document software solutions Fosters and accomplishes solutions to complex issues that resolve department deficiencies.
Provides leadership and participates in the development and delivery of solutions by estimating, planning, designing, implementing, and testing the solutions.
Educate others on automation engineering disciplines (e.
g.
, coding practices/standards, design patterns, troubleshooting techniques) Analyze solutions and design the solution's delivery in an automated fashion.
Analyzes projects and assigns tasks, while establishing project milestones and leading peers toward completion of milestones.
Coordinates strategies to ensure the technologies are interconnected and product lines are working smoothly.
Acts as liaison with business owners and technical staff to define system documentation and testing plans.
Coordinates and schedules activities with other IT management and staff when departmental dependencies occur.
Consults with Bank personnel in selection of hardware and software, development of applications, use of programming tools, etc.
Acts as liaison on behalf of the Bank with third party vendor technical staff to ensure the Bank interests are met.
Keeps abreast of technological developments and industry trends including recommending technologies that result in Software Delivery improvements.
Assists in risk assessment and technical audits and mitigation activities.

Defines, implements, configures, and supports purchased software applications and system integrations.
Provides technical specifications in the following areas:

Application design Build process Release process Information Security Monitoring and alerting process Job Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent work history Minimum 10 years of experience working with software teams on software projects Minimum 3 years of experience acting in a lead capacity for a software development and/or infrastructure/operations team Extensive experience performing technical and administrative duties in overall systems design, development, deployment, and delivery in both Private and Public cloud paradigm Experience leading systems architecture using modern software engineering and product development methodologies and tools including but not limited to Agile, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and DevOps Extensive experience delivering solutions on Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience with DevOps tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and/or similar tools Has working knowledge of networks, routing, firewalls, Active Directory Extensive experience with MS SQL Server database technology and T-SQL or Oracle database technology and PL/SQL Strong hands-on experience with mainline programming and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Ruby, Perl,.
Net, Java, and/or other similar types Strong project planning and estimating skills.
Must possess the ability to deal with people at all organizational levels Must possess excellent problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Must not have been convicted on any civil or criminal charge that would suggest a risk to Bank security.
Ability to work full time.
Business experience with financial or accounting systems; or equivalent combination of education and IT support of financial systems is preferred Salary Range:
$130,000 - $150,000 Recommended Skills.
