4K a year 10 days ago 10 days ago 10 days ago We are seeking a Service Tech to troubleshoot, repair hot and cold food equipment in Central Indiana.
This is for an industry leader of over 50 years, who is seeking a reliable and experienced service tech to join our team.
You get to work independently and without close supervision with a friendly, family-orientated, supportive culture.
What you'll do:
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on fryers, griddles, warmers, convection ovens, hot hold cabinets, cold side repairs Operate hand and power tools, gauges, meters, measuring equipment and climb a 6ft ladder Able to work in environmental conditions such as heat, cold, fumes, dust, and lift 50-100 pounds frequently Understand wiring diagrams and communicate with customers professionally to explain current problems and potential solutions The role is Monday-Friday at multiple locations with an on-call rotation.
Work flexible hours as required with potential overtime.
Availability for emergency service calls including nights and weekends.
Operate a commercial vehicle and trailer safely and follow all company safety requirements.
Requirements:
Typically 3 years of experience with food equipment repair and HVAC High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license (Required) Pre-Employment Drug Screening (Required) Refrigeration/HVAC license or a technical trade school education/degree (Preferred) EPA, RSES, and/or CFESA certifications (Preferred) Benefits include:
