The Director North American Manufacturing directs and controls manufacturing operations in North America (Indianapolis, San Jose, Loveland) as well as key partner with North American DX sites (Kendall and Hialeah) Establish a multi-year strategic footprint vision for global plants that is regularly refreshed and drives the action plan to optimize the global manufacturing footprint.
Leading NA Mfg Policy Deployment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring all aspects of NA plant operations are delivering CVDs with discipline DBS.
Ensure the customer requirements, shipment goals, business goals, and production plans are achieved, and that manufacturing capacity meets the sales plans Ensures team is staffed with high performing associates that work together as a team while ensuring succession plans and development plans are in place.
Responsibilities:
Develop a Team and Culture of High Performance, Continuous Improvement, Empowerment, and Accountability.
Oversees relationships with all operations related input and support functions to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement of cross functional teams (e.
g.
QA, Regulatory, R&D, Product Management, etc.
) Ensures each plant location team is designed and staffed to execute tactically (Environmental Health and Safety, Quality, Scheduling, Buying, Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Shipping, and DBS) with urgency.
Develops business plans, allocates budgets and resources, staff, tools, and specialized support necessary for cost-effective operations.
Lead the operations team to ensure a culture of Quality continuous improvement and strong executional discipline to quality expectations.
Drive On Time Delivery (OTD) to >95% customer request date thru strong Value Stream management from scheduling, buying, production, warehousing, and shipping.
Continuously develop tactics to reduce standard costs through improvements in labor productivity, cycle times, expenses, overhead, scrap and material costs Strong leadership commitment and discipline to DBS processes to ensure continuously improving and sustainable results including but not limited to (Daily Management, Visual Management, Standard work, Dynamic KANBAN, IMAG.
Heijunka Scheduling, etc.
) Supports new product development by prioritizing and allocating resources from plant facilities, engineering group, and other functional groups not directly reporting to this position.
Responsible for developing the Global Operations strategy, leading strategic projects, assessing organizational performance, developing action plans and implementing processes that improve organizational effectiveness Minimum Qualifications B.

with Minimum of 14
years' experience or Masters with 12
years' experience in manufacturing (assembly, automotive, aerospace, medical devices, equipment manufacturing, process manufacturing) with 8
in leadership roles.
Experience in building high performing teams and managing in a multi-site remote leadership environment.
Expertise with management (leading, motivating, challenging, influencing) to drive change management in a fast-moving business.
Experience leading manufacturing value streams in a high mix, low volume environment Commitment and Success demonstrated in continuous improvement tools and methodologies with an affinity to go to Gemba and lead by example; Ability to think strategically, identifying key business issues, formulating strategic options, build financial analysis and feasibility studies, and presenting business cases for strategic development.
Ability to influence decision making with or without authority, facilitate groups with varied perspectives and bring teams to agreement.
High tolerance for ambiguity and demonstrated success working in a matrixed organization.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
