Shipping/Receiving/Trucking Manager
Indianapolis, Indiana
This role calls for a creative, innovative multi-tasker with leadership abilities, who can easily work with diverse groups of people. Our client's Indiana location is the crossroads for the company's trucking operations which means, as Shipping/Receiving/Trucking Manager, you will be responsible for everything that comes in, and everything that goes out. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will handle all aspects of the Shipping/Receiving and Trucking operations, from planning and directing to managing. You will work in tandem with Corporate Sales, Operations, Raw Materials and Traffic departments, while coordinating the day-to-day activities of the salaried, hourly production, and over-the-road drivers.
To qualify, you should hold an Associate's degree and possess 5 or more years of managing shipping/receiving, trucking and warehouse operations. Your background should include work in a union environment. Your expertise should encompass DOT rules and regulations and a proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. SAP experience/knowledge would be extremely advantageous.
