Development Engineer needed in the Indianapolis area. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and development of residential gas furnaces and/or related component technologies: burners, heat exchangers, blowers, sheet metal & plastic part design, and controls application.
Responsibilities for the Product Engineer
Effectively communicate with others on design teams to understand and translate design and process engineering requirements into product line design components and sub-systems.
Collaborate with the quality/reliability engineers to implement key metrics into the design of the product and ensure all reliability design goals are achieved. Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives for Engineering and the Labs
Follow EH&S, Ethics, and International Trade Compliance (ITC) Practices and Policies.
Manage several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project.
Requirements for the Product Engineer
Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2-5
years of experience
Project management skills are also a benefit
