Responsibilities:
Execute specific deal support and transaction consultation with Corporate Business Development and Corporate Finance and Investment Banking (CFIB) to meet and exceed their expectations.
Range of services include specific accounting technical support, preparation and review of quarterly and annual reports, providing creative solutions, resolving business issues and ensuring effective implementation of deals signed.
Time in position will be a minimum of three years.
Prepare portions of the annual report and quarterly filings.
Specific deal execution and support with Corporate Business Development and CFIB.
Provide technical accounting consultation and advice to various internal financial groups, with an emphasis on the Elanco Animal Health division.
Actively participate in the evaluation and interpretation of changes in US GAAP and the impacts to our company.
Review exposure drafts of accounting and reporting issues that impact our company and industry, and write responses to the FASB, PCAOB and SEC when deemed appropriate.
Lead the process for responding to SEC comment letters.
Document, monitor, and ensure compliance with internal controls in the business development and financial reporting processes as part of our compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
Provide financial information and research to assist leadership with special projects.
Maintain centralized accounting consultations library.
Utilize project management processes to effectively manage resources and timelines.
Actively embrace and implement opportunities for change.
Basic
Qualifications:
Accounting degree CPA required
4 plus years of experience Serve as Corporate Financial Reportings team leader responsible for coordinating successful 10-K and 10-Q filings
4 years of experience preparing accurate, timely, and GAAP compliant quarterly and annual reports for filing with the SEC.
3 plus years of experience with external reporting for public companies
Must have 4-7 years of public accounting or similar experience
Qualified candidate must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
Experience with large, multi-national corporations
Solid technical accounting background with extensive knowledge of current US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead and influence others
Additional Information:
Overtime will be required at peak project times
Minimal travel required
70% - External reporting and accounting consultation
30% - Support of Corporate Business Development and CFIB

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
