Responsibilities
Ensure we are effective at attracting, selecting, & hiring the right talent in line with our values, local law/compliance obligations and business plan
Manage the recruiting process end to end
Develop strategies and implement action plans related to candidate sourcing/identification and recruitment process execution
Interview prospective employees and evaluate candidates
Gather candidate feedback from interview team and lead selection process
Craft and negotiate offers
Achieve compliance requirements defined by role including but not limited to adherence to OFCCP and EEOC guidelines as they relate to hiring practices
Ensure adherence to data integrity, compliance and privacy guidelines
Deliver an excellent experience for the candidate, employees and supervisor
Proactively establish effective working relationships with line management and key business support personnel (HR business partners, legal, relocation, immigration).
Maintain a high level of customer service by partnering with all levels of management in order to make successful hiring decisions
Ensure jobs are filled in a timely manner with high quality candidates
Respond to routine recruiting-related questions from partners, staff, candidates, and new hires
Effectively represent the Lilly brand and values to all candidates in the recruitment process
Build and lead an effective recruiting organization
Oversee and monitor manage the business pipeline metrics and report to leadership as needed
Coach hiring managers on interviewing and selection
Maintain marketplace knowledge and recruitment trends
Share best practices and learning with teammates
Use solid judgment and thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree
Minimum of 3 years of scientific/technical recruiting experience or 2 years of physician recruiting
Qualified candidate must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.
Additional Skills/Preferences
Prior HR experience or knowledge of HR processes; employment practices and compliance
Previous exposure to and knowledge of recruitment processes
Excellent written and oral communication
Demonstrated ability to influence others at all levels
Ability to build strong relationships and partner with line management
Demonstrated ability to evaluate situations and make appropriate decisions

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
