Responsibilities:
Diabetes ITs overarching role is to be the link from Lilly Diabetes to the global IT organization. It is specifically charged with:
Maximizing value by driving continuous improvement and utilization of information with existing assets and capabilities
Identifying opportunities for novel work yielding information-driven business value
Ensuring fit for purpose of IT assets by maintaining a 3-5 year view of strategic and architectural information needs
Ensuring sustainability of the overall IT operating model and capability
The function of the group, overall, is primarily one of account management and value assurance. Work will be accomplished in alignment with the IT enterprise and Business Unit IT goals. This group and this position report to the Director, IT; Lilly Diabetes.
This Diabetes IT Business Integrator position enables Lilly Diabetes US brand teams by delivering and supporting IT capabilities related to commercialization. The incumbent will work closely with brand teams, agencies, and IT colleagues to maximize the value that IT solutions contribute to the BU and to ensure their quality, security and cost-effectiveness. Success requires that the Business Integrator understand business area strategies, priorities and processes and is knowledgeable and capable of leveraging IT processes to get work done.
Collaborate effectively with Diabetes marketing business partners by developing strong relationships with key stakeholders and developing an understanding of their priorities.
Understand the engagement needs of sales and marketing accounts and ensure that they are met at both the strategic and operational level.
Deliver and/or oversee delivery and support of IT solutions required for marketing.
This includes tactics related to MMPs, launch meetings, HCP engagement, apps, etc.
Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with agency partners and digital suppliers.
Work collaboratively with Diabetes IT team and partner IT organizations to deliver optimal support and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Where appropriate, work effectively with Boehringer Ingelheim or other collaborations information technology groups.
Champion use of Lilly technology platforms and processes, working with the various Solution Delivery teams, determining requirements and being able to represent them to the business.
This includes LillyWeb, iRep, TouchPoint Optimization, Unified Customer Experience, etc.
Have a good working knowledge of US Diabetes business priorities, being aware of key business events (e.g., launches) and other activities that may require additional or special support for specific periods of time.
Assist brand team personnel to be technology-ready to leverage standard Lilly platforms and solutions.

Actively identify and promote opportunities to create/enhance technology platforms or to improve support processes (customer experience, efficiency, quality, etc.) across the entire, global BU IT
Adhere to corporate and US computer systems validation and privacy policies and procedures.
Drive resolution of unacceptable architectural, quality, compliance and funding risks in the Diabetes IT commercialization portfolio.
Act as custodian for IT solutions unique to the US Diabetes IT portfolio.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
At least three years of professional IT experience working directly with business groups, of which at least three years are with sales and marketing organizations and processes
Two years of successful development, delivery and support of websites, mobile apps, or other tactics for business use
Experience applying a systems development methodology to deliver complete IT solutions
Experience with IT delivery through a blend of suppliers and colleagues
Experience with Professional IT work with iOS devices and applications
