Responsibilities:
The Project Management Office is charged with improving reliable delivery of the portfolio by enabling best practices across project management tools, processes, and methodologies across Lilly Research Laboratories (LRL). This P4 project management role serves as the project leader for the development and application of Project Management (PM) capabilities and competencies across LRL. This can include entire projects or components of larger projects in the areas of Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM), PM tools, data standards, metrics, benchmarking, business processes, project planning and tracking, training, and consulting which enables on-time and on-budget delivery to customers of the PMO (e.g., project management functions, LRL, and governance). This role serves as a project leader for the development and application of Critical Chain Project Management capabilities and competencies across LRL. This role is expected to influence senior leadership across LRL to enable successful implementation of PM tools and processes like Critical Chain Project Management as a means to improve reliable delivery of the portfolio. Serve as process owner and/or subject matter expert for key project management and drug development processes
Basic
Qualifications:
Four-year degree, preferably in a health-related, scientific or engineering field
3 years of experience working as a project manager
3 years of experience working with MS Project

Additional Skills/Preferences:
Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) Expert certification
Previous experience with or knowledge of drug development processes in specific therapeutic area(s)
Previous drug development experience in the Lead to launch phases of development.
Higher degrees or certifications (e.g. MS., MBA, Masters in Project Management or PMP)
Leadership:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to clearly communicate with peers and leadership.
Demonstrated ability to articulate issues and to provide written materials that may be needed for training or various presentation efforts.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to continually assess the appropriate utilization of project management methodologies across teams, help to troubleshoot issues and provide for timely networking or resolution, and demonstrated ability to share from past learning experiences.
Excellent self-management and organizational skills, ability to manage working with a large number of different teams with varying styles, issues, and complexity.
Ability to independently manage workload and adjust priorities as needed.
Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and influence.
Ability to provide leadership to others, to appropriately network across a wide variety of functional components, and to drive consistency and best practices for project management into the organization.
Must be able to partner across broad business partners and work effectively with all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated understanding of business principles with the ability to maintain a corporate view of the portfolio
Flexibility to adjust quickly and effectively to changing business priorities and needs.
Project Management Expertise:
Demonstrated leadership in applying the fundamentals of effective project management
Demonstrated organizational and administrative skills
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and ProChain Scheduler and Enterprise (PCE)
Demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional project, preferably within LRL
Drug Development Expertise:
Higher degree and/or 5-7 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or drug development

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
