Responsibilities:
Eli Lilly & Company is seeking an intelligent, creative and energetic veterinary pathologist to work in drug discovery and development at the Lilly Corporate Center in Indianapolis, IN. The individual selected will provide scientific leadership in interpreting pathology and other relevant data related to toxic and pharmacologic effects of potential new medicines in laboratory animals and their relevance to humans. Experience in developing monoclonal antibodies and proteins (biologics), and a background in immunotoxicology or immunology is preferred. The successful candidate will have access to many scientific and technical specialty groups within Lilly and its external partnerships, and will be expected to design, conduct and interpret the clinical and morphologic pathology aspects of studies, and to identify and bring resolution to pathology and toxicology issues affecting the discovery and development of pharmaceuticals. Frequent interaction with external business partners will be an important role. We are seeking an individual with strong comparative medicine, communication (written and oral) and engagement skills to partner with a world-class organization of scientists in Investigative Toxicology, Experimental Pathology, and drug discovery and development teams. Basic
Qualifications:
DVM, PhD or Masters, and certification by American College of Veterinary Pathologists.
A least 5
years of experience in designing and interpreting Preclinical Safety & Investigative Studies.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
Experience in developing biologics; and training/experience in immunotoxicology or immunology
Interpretation of animal models of human disease, pathology, and toxicology data through active generation and review of data and production of written study reports
Clear and concise oral and written pathology communications
Development of scientific and regulatory perspectives on emerging issues and excellent problem solving skills
Comfort in correlation of clinical pathology and anatomic pathology data to assist in fluid and tissue biomarker development
Ability to work individually or effectively in cross-functional teams on issues related to drug discovery and development.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
