Ascension Information Services located with St Vincent Health , in Indianapolis, IN is currently seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst/Informaticist, to be responsible for the support and implementation of our Ambulatory Electronic Health Record applications.
### QUALIFICATIONS
This position has the following qualifications.
Minimum Bachelor''s Degree in a clinical or IT area, is preferred
Prior healthcare experience either in Information Services or other clinical areas required.
2 or more years experience with an electronic health record application is preferred.
Ability to fulfill responsibilities of On Call rotation, is required
Willingness to travel to remote locations within Indiana to fulfill implementation and support needs is required.
Willingness to reside within a commutable distance of Indianapolis or Bedford, IN is required
### RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities for this position includes but is not limited to the following:
Responsible for providing physician practice workflow transformation leadership, workflow change management direction, and identify information gaps in existing clinical processes as it related to implementation and clinical acceptance of the Ambulatory EHR program.
Responsible for clinically related EHR subspecialty system build assistance while determining if the Ambulatory EHR and resources can be optimized or leveraged to fill any potential information or workflow gaps.
Provide ongoing Ambulatory EHR application support by responding to service tickets and interacting with the IT Help Desk to resolve customer issues.
Develops training materials and/or system documentation and provide ongoing training to physician clinical associates.
Assists Customers through all aspects of system development life cycle including design, build, testing, training, deployment and post live support activities.
Serves as a member of a diverse ambulatory EHR implementation team that will consist of Information Services personnel, Customer personnel, software vendor associates, and other consulting associates.
Works with Customer personnel to define functional and technical system requirements as appropriate.
Facilitates design sessions and/or issue resolutions sessions as necessary to accomplish the project objectives.
Performs hands-on application build and configuration and system or dictionary maintenance activities as necessary.
Creates testing scripts and facilitates application testing as required.
Participates in system deployment activities, which may necessitate weekend and/or off-hour support.
Provides post live support and knowledge transfer to the Customer''s long-term operational support personnel.
Create clinical and statistical reports as needed to support the Ambulatory EHR program.
